Sorting

Sort preference can be explicitly set by setting the "sorttype" field within the search filters.

Default Sort Order

If no sort type is specified, the default sort order will depend upon the provided filters and the type of search route that was used.

If the provided filters indicate the type of equipment in some way, then the results will be sorted by Relevance for that Equipment Type. Otherwise, searches will fall back to sorting by Name, Recently-Added, or #Matches (depending upon the search type).
